That would give you world wide for the luxury vehicles, while having your other restrictions on the rest. You may want to access this model from the World District in the World Map, then apply a district lock to the individual model on the "World" district. This worked quite well until I came up with the idea to sell the models of the luxury brand worldwide from one location. I have branches in all cities worldwide, three different marques, about 35 models that are sold everywhere (for the same price) and I have created different districts. If you want to limit shipping to one particular district, lock the shipping to that district, but make sure the shipping distance is far enough to cover that area. If you want a certain shipping distance applied to new vehicles at a branch, use the "Inherit" system. If you want to apply shipping distance to ALL models in many Districts, use the District's Branch window. If you want to apply shipping distances to ALL models in ONE branch, use the shipping distances in the Branch window. If you want to change one model's shipping distance in many branches, you use districting system. If you want to change one model's shipping distance globally, use "Apply to All". So in short, everything in the game works on the individual vehicle, we just have different ways for you to apply changes in mass. You can also lock districts for the entire branch the same way. There is an additional checkbox in there, "Inherit Branches' Shipping Distance" (wording might not be exact), which will automatically apply a shipping distance to new vehicles you sell at the branch, even if you use "Apply to All". If you do this, it just changes every individual vehicles shipping distance inside that branch. If you tried this without district locking, you would get vehicles from France and Poland, as both countries would be inside the shipping radius.įinally, there is an option to adjust an entire branch's shipping distance. For example, if you have a branch in Germany, but want to get get vehicles from Poland instead of France, you would lock shipping to the Poland District, while having the shipping distance far enough to get vehicles from Poland. The shipping distance still has to over lap the area you want the vehicles from. This is useful if you want to get vehicles from a specific area. The difference is using the districting system applies to ALL branches in the district.ĭistrict Locking, you can lock shipping to a specific district. There is also an "Apply to All" button, which sets the value for all branches.īoth these systems work the same. The point of "Districts" is to manage all locations in a district as if they're one. If you use the districting system, you have the option of doing the above, except "Apply" works for the entire district. Using the "Apply to All" button sets the value for all branches. Is there an easy way to reset the settings for all cars worldwide back to default so I can clean up the chaos and try again? So I don't want to use the autoproduction. But I would like to continue to control production myself in order to optimise it, because I really enjoy this. This display depends on the shipping distance, and unfortunately this is now often unintentionally different. Unfortunately, I've tried so much in the meantime that I can't see in the mega-menu anymore how much I have to produce in each factory based on the demand of the last month.
